The role opportunity
Chubb is growing and we are looking for a passionate underwriter to join our Marine team in the Nordics. In the role of underwriter, you will focus specifically on Marine Cargo. You actively build and maintain relationships with brokers and customers.

You make an impact and strengthen our market position by:
- Building and maintaining good relationships with brokers
- Promoting the profitability of the marine portfolio.
- Ensuring quality control by means of including underwriting and peer reviews
- Contributing to prioritizing and developing products that meet current market needs
- Bringing in new business and increase retention. For this you sometimes work together with your colleagues in Europe and beyond
- Representing and promoting Chubb to brokers, internal and external customers. You offer our stakeholders the service they can expect from Chubb, you optimally respond to cross-sell opportunities and monitor new business and retention
- Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
You bring the following:
- Passion for the Marine Insurance profession
- Have knowledge of and +3 years of experience with the cargo insurance market
- A strong commercial drive and very customer-oriented approach
- Experience in maintaining relationships with clients and brokers
- Discipline, ambition, and high demands on yourself
- Excellent command of the Swedish (or another Nordic Language) & English languague
